PLEASE NOTE HOLIDAY SCHEDULE. LOCAL DROUGHT CONDITIONS The summer of 2022 has been very hot and extremely dry. Since June 1, 2022, Elmont has received less than 1 inch of rain; most of that fell in June. These conditions have impacted the cemetery as well as our landscape suppliers. Please be patient as we all adjust to the climate conditions. If you are expecting a planting, the cemetery must wait until conditions and supplies are favorable for successful planting. 2022 HOLY DAY SCHEDULE

Will you join us for the traditional Kever Avot? It is the custom of visiting graves during the High Holy Days. You can take this opportunity to share a story about the person whose grave you are visiting. Kivod hamet is the mitzvah of honoring the deceased. Leave a pebble on the monument to commemorate the visit.
