Maimonides Cemetery has available plots at $6,500.00 each grave for our Jewish community. For Jewish interfaith families, the interfaith "Beit Chaverim" is available. Family plots are also available. Price upon request. Please call so we can help you select the most suitable plot for your needs. We will meet with you to answer your questions and help you select the location that meets your needs.

​TO OUR CUSTOMERS AND MEMBER FAMILIES​:
 
The outbreak of Covid -19 has impacted us all. To better protect our customers, member families, and teammates while still meeting your burial and care needs, we have updated our policies again. We ask for your patience and cooperation during these challenging times.
Mosquitos pose an ongoing health threat. Therefore, no vases, containers, or other objects which collect water and provide a possible breeding site for mosquitos will be allowed. The health department has advised us of this and non-compliance will result in fines.

  • Appointments for office transactions may be made by calling 516.775.6222
  • The office will respond to all telephone and email requests expeditiously.
  • Burials will be arranged in coordination with the funeral director, as always. 
  • For burials, the mourners will gather in the cemetery lot in their vehicles and await the conclusion of cemetery formalities. The hearse and funeral director will proceed to the graveside first. The cemetery workers will lower the casket. The cemetery workers will retreat. The funeral director will escort the procession to the graveside for service. Upon conclusion of the prayers, the mourners will return to their vehicles. The cemetery will conclude the burial.
  • The cemetery continues to provide annual and perpetual care to all lots entitled to the service. 2025 Care bills will be mailed in January for 2025 Care. Foundation work will resume in April 2025. If your lot needs care, please contact us to make arrangements.
  • ​Last entry for visitors is 30 minutes before closing.
